Are you a European citizen with a strong maritime background? Currently in Nigeria or open to relocating? This could be your chance to take on a key leadership role with a world-renowned shipbuilding company.

We're hiring a Vessel Warranty & Support Manager on behalf of our client — a global leader in shipbuilding. This role is based in Nigeria, and we're specifically seeking a European passport holder, either already residing in Nigeria or willing to move. In this position, you'll act as the key liaison between clients and shipyard teams in France, ensuring technical support, warranty coordination, and customer satisfaction are delivered at the highest standards.

🔧 Your Role
  • As the face of post-delivery support in Nigeria, you'll be responsible for:
  • Warranty Management
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers during the warranty period
  • Overseeing diagnostics, repairs, and onboard technical interventions
  • Reporting to both clients and the Operations Manager in France
  • Ensuring traceability of feedback and resolution of technical issues

Technical Coordination

  • Supervising local technicians (including teams in Guyana and the Bahamas)
  • Managing support systems including spares, tools, and documentation
  • Supporting maintenance planning and fault diagnostics
  • Handling after-sales services such as refits, modifications, and upgrades

👤 Your Background

  • Must be a European citizen (passport required)
  • 10+ years of relevant maritime industry experience
  • Background as a merchant navy officer, superintendent, naval engineer, or similar
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus)
  • Technically sound with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage priorities independently and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
  • Familiar with standard IT tools and reporting systems
